NIST – U. Maryland workshop on Quantum Information and Computer Science (QuICS)

This is the “kickoff workshop” for a proposed Joint Center for Quantum Information and Computer Science (QuICS), created by NIST and the University of Maryland.

Dates: Monday, March 31 – Tuesday, April 1, 2014.

[Note, this is the week after “Complexity Meets Condensed Matter” at the Simons Institute in Berkeley.]

Location: College Park, Maryland (near Washington, DC).

The purpose of the workshop is to initiate collaborations between researchers at QuICS and elsewhere, and to solicit ideas about research and activities that the QuICS center may pursue.
