Conceptual Foundations and Foils for Quantum Information Processing

We would like to draw your attention to the conference “Conceptual Foundations and Foils for Quantum Information Processing”, which will take place at Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics, Waterloo, Canada from May 9 – 13, 2011. Please forward this message to anyone who might be interested.

The main focus of the conference will be the interplay between physical principles and information processing protocols. The conference format consists of invited talks and will feature a poster session, where interested participants are invited to present their work.

The deadline for registration is May 3rd 2011. Registration is now open at https://www.perimeterinstitute.ca/applications/123

Limited financial support will be available for Advanced Master students, PhD students, and Postdoctoral Fellows. The deadline to apply for financial support is Tuesday, March 15. Applications will be reviewed after the deadline and selected participants will be contacted if support is available.
