- Theoretical Physics of Molecules and Quantum Systems

Lecturer in Theoretical AMOP Physics x2

The appointment will be on UCL Grade 8. The salary range will be £39,510 to £46,635 per annum depending on experience, inclusive of London Allowance.Duties and Responsibilities
UCL invites applications for two lectureships in the Atomic, Molecular, Optical and Positron Physics (AMOPP) group (http://www.ucl.ac.uk/phys/amopp/) from theorists with an excellent record of academic research and promise for future achievements. The successful candidates are expected to enhance one of our existing areas of research, to develop new research initiatives and to generate the external income to support them. This position will also involve taking part in the Department’s teaching programme at undergraduate and graduate level including: Lecturing, tutoring, laboratory demonstrating and dissertation supervision.Key Requirements
The successful candidates will have a PhD or equivalent qualification in AMOP Physics and a track record of international research excellence and publishing in peer-reviewed journals in the field of AMOP Physics. Proven ability to raise funds for their own research (e.g. through a personal fellowship) would be an advantage.Further Details
