Institute for Quantum Information Science at the University of Calgary Jobs

Institute for Quantum Information Science at the University of Calgary invites applications from motivated and creative individuals for several research positions.

A new nanophotonics and quantum optics lab (Paul Barclay, http://www.iqis.org/nanophotonics/), with facilities both at the University of Calgary and the National Institute for Nanotechnology in Edmonton is recruiting individuals with interests in nanophotonics, quantum optics, optomechanics, optical sensing, low temperature physics and spectroscopy for graduate, postdoctoral, and research technician positions.

The Quantum Information Technology group (Alex Lvovsky, http://www.iqis.org/quantech/) is seeking experimentalists with hands-on experience in at least one of our research areas, i.e. quantum light sources and detectors, quantum light-matter interface, ultracold atoms, for postdoctoral and graduate student positions.

The researchers will have ample opportunities to develop theoretical, experimental, and nanofabrication skills while studying systems at the forefront of quantum science and engineering. Please contact us with your CV if interested.
