Singapore. Nothing like a thunder storm at 2 am.
I’m here to visit the Quantum Information Technology Group at the National University of Singapore, a.k.a. quantumlah. Their motto is “We do IT with qubits.” Which reminds me that I need to get my personalized Washington state license plates. In California, I had the plates “QUBITS” (because one qubit isn’t that interest). What should I get this time? I was thinking of “NTANGLD” or maybe just “QUANTUM.”

I vote for NTANGLD. People might read all sorts of sick meanings into that, but it’s not your fault other people are perverts.
Didn’t Feynman pwn the license plate “QUANTUM”?
I own the Pennsylvania licence plate QUANTUM. I don’t know whether Feynman had this or not, though. As for what you should get… How about SU 2 ? Or maybe U1SU2SU3 ?
QUBITZ would be cool, it’s got a gangsta ‘Z’ (pronounced “zed”).

I applied for the plate QUANTUM in NM soon after I got here. NM’s DMV isn’t computerized like CA so I have no idea if it is taken already. We’ll see if it arrives in the 6-8 weeks they say it takes. I had the plate F OVER M in VA (think: Newton’s 2nd Law). In a similar vein, one of the backups I applied for in NM is D2X DT2. Again, we’ll see what shows up.
