  1. My wife is a prominent member of the Audubon Society … she says to remind your readers that the tree octopus is commonly found in the same habitat as the mountain walrus (photos here).
    Both are marine species who successfully adapted to the montaine uplift of the Olympic Peninsula.
    The upper Elwha River valley is a good place to encounter these beautiful creatures.
