  1. The video is pretty impressive isn’t it?
Apparently it was made by the “what the bleep” people, presumably for their own evil motives… :-O
Maybe there are subliminal messages…. 😉

  2. Feynman once said that the mystery of quantum theory boils down to have one number bigger than another. That was in his discussion of Bell’s inequality (without ever mentioning Bell!) (“Simulating Physics with Computers “, 1982, International Journal of Theoretical Physics)

  3. Interesting video. It reminded me of something. I’m part of a group of faculty and students going over Feynman’s Lectures on Physics and one of my colleagues noted, based on his reading of Feynman’s discussion of the two-slit experiment, that Feynman’s interpretation of QM might have been more akin to a pilot wave (Bohmian, etc.) interpretation. At the same time I was reading David Wick’s The Infamous Boundary in preparation for a workshop on QM that I’m running for mostly non-science faculty members and noticed that Wick seemed to have a somewhat similar conclusion about Feynman based on that same thing – in fact Wick claims Feynman viewed the double-slit experiment as the only true quantum mechanical phenomenon. I haven’t made up my mind yet having not read Vol. III of the Feynman Lectures which is devoted to QM. Anyone else have a thought on this?

  4. They are not very subliminal: “If you observe things (one eye closed and pray and buy the video) strange things happen to quantum systems”.
Except for the non subliminal part I think I like it.
