Nobel Prize in Chemistry

The 2006 Nobel Prize in Chemistry to Roger Kornberg from Stanford for work on transciption. Kornberg was an undergrad at Harvard and a graduate student at Stanford. Quite a week for the San Francisco bay area for Nobel prizes!

  1. I guess you too are a Nobel Prize groupie 🙂 Even though I’m no longer a scientist, I always look forward to the announcements. Of course, it’s much cooler when it goes to someone I took a class from, but I always like to know. I guess it’s like how other people keep track of who won Oscars, or the World Cup. 🙂
