Michael sends me a link to an article with the name of the new James Bond movie: Quantum of Solace. If compassion is quantized (down that path leads madness), I really hope I’m in a region where the correspondence principle applies.

It looks like the author of the Telegraph‘s story ripped off Everything2 for the definition of “quantum of solace”.
Sounds a distinctly un-Bond-like concept.
Of note is that Mr. Bond (Daniel Craig) in the Quantum of Solace is Mr. Heisenberg (Daniel Craig) in the TV version of Copenhagen. He appears to be a huge lover of quantum mechanics
This is slightly less surprising than Pernilla August’s love of virgin births.
