Hence the chance I will be saved is around 0.002 percent. Better than winning the lottery, but about the same odds as dying by exposure to a sharp inanimate mechanical object.

I have a theory about this figure of 144000. I think that it is 12 multiplied by 12 multiplied by 1000. 12, in this case, symbolizes sequence rather than the integer after eleven. And 1000 symbolizes revelation. Therefore, the statement is that those who are “saved” experience sequence in the context of sequence, which I interpret to mean awareness of a particular event simultaneous with awareness of a global sequence of such events, multiplied by the force of revelation, here expressed by the number 1000. Sequence within sequence, (metacognivity), multiplied by the emotional and spiritual force of revelation leads to being saved.
