The original maintainer of this blog was Dave Bacon, who reigned as Quantum Pontiff for many years until retiring in 2011 (that was way before retiring from pontifical positions was a cool thing to do.)
From 2011 until 2018, chaos reigned, and a Pontiffical triple ran the party:
- Charles Bennett (IBM)
- Steve Flammia (Sydney)
- Aram Harrow (MIT)
Unlike some other group blogs, they didn’t pretend to be a single person, and sparked controversy at every turn.
In 2018, a fit of quantum recurrence occurred, and the former pontiff decided to un-retire demoting the pontiffical triple to a cardinal set.
We blog about the wondrous quantum world in which we live. None of what we said should be taken as anything beyond our personal opinions and/or the opinion of Dave’s dog Imma.
Hi there,
