The successful candidate will be part of team developing new quantum computing and simulation protocols and algorithms. There will be opportunities to collaborate with experimentalists and theorists at Univ. of California, Berkeley as part of the project.<\/div>\n<div class=\"\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"\">A background in the quantum computing and\/or AMO theory is required. Previous exposure to machine learning, data science and associated fields is a significant advantage. Successful candidates are expected to demonstrate technical leadership and publish outstanding new developments in peer-reviewed scientific journals. The ability to interact and collaborate with a diverse set of colleagues is a strong advantage in this position.<\/div>\n<div class=\"\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"\">This postdoctoral position is a temporary position for up to one year, which may be renewed at Sandia&#8217;s discretion up to five additional years.
