{"id":398,"date":"2015-08-30T10:24:02","date_gmt":"2015-08-30T10:24:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/dabacon.org\/qspeak\/?p=398"},"modified":"2015-08-30T10:24:02","modified_gmt":"2015-08-30T10:24:02","slug":"postdoctoral-fellowships-at-sutd","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dabacon.org\/qspeak\/2015\/08\/30\/postdoctoral-fellowships-at-sutd\/","title":{"rendered":"Postdoctoral Fellowships at SUTD"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Quantum Theory and Information group at Singapore University of Technology and Design is currently seeking two postdoctoral fellows for a project related to the development of novel quantum cryptographic protocols.<\/p>\n<p>The first position is a fixed one year fellowship associated with developing protocols for blind quantum computation in a multi-user setting.<\/p>\n<p>The second position is for up to three years and focuses on developing quantum communications protocols which can be used as building blocks for new cryptographic protocols.<\/p>\n<p>Candidates should be creative, highly motivated, and interested to work in an interdisciplinary and very collaborative environment. In order to be considered for the position, candidates must have a strong background in quantum computation and hold a PhD in physics, theoretical computer science, mathematics or a related discipline, or expect one to be awarded before the commencement of the fellowship.<\/p>\n<p>Applications should consist of a full CV, list of publications, and names and electronic contact details of three referees.
