Students will be able to chose from amongst the wide range of\u00a0research in experimental quantum technologies at UCL, from solid state devices based on isotopically engineered silicon, carbon nanomaterials and III-V materials and novel semiconductors, to trapped atomic and molecular systems. The research projects will involve combinations of some or all of the following: nanofabrication, spintronics, atomic and laser physics, quantum transport, low temperature physics, photonics and more, and there will be opportunities for research visits to national and international collaborators, in both academia and industry.<\/p>\n<p>The start date of the studentships will be in September 2014.<\/p>\n<p><b>Person Specification<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Applicants should have an excellent first degree in Engineering, Physics or a related discipline<\/p>\n<p><b>Eligibility<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The studentships are open to students of any nationality.<\/p>\n<p>For more details, please contact Lopa Murgai (<a href=\"mailto:lopa.murgai@ucl.ac.uk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">lopa.murgai@ucl.ac.uk<\/a>).
