The successful candidates will be associated with the Center for Quantum Technologies (see\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.locc.la\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">http:\/\/www.locc.la<\/a>), and with University College London (part of the newly formed London network LINQS (see\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.linqs.org.uk\/%29\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">http:\/\/www.linqs.org.uk\/)<\/a>).<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Applications are especially welcomed from highly motivated researchers with a PhD in mathematics, theoretical physics or theoretical computer science, and a strong background and interest in applications of information theory to areas such as quantum foundations, thermodynamics, quantum field theory, or quantum gravity.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>For any further queries on the scientific details and requirements of the post, please contact\u00a0Jonathan Oppenheim (<a href=\"mailto:j.oppenheim@ucl.ac.uk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">j.oppenheim@ucl.ac.uk<\/a>)\u00a0and\u00a0Stephanie Wehner (<a href=\"mailto:steph@locc.la\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">steph@locc.la<\/a>).\u00a0Research will be undertaken in part at UCL and CQT, with the exact nature of the joint tenure to be worked out with the successful candidate.\u00a0<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Applications should include a full CV, publications list, a summary of research interests (max two pages), and the names of three referees.
