(I&#8217;ve said it before, and I&#8217;ll say it again.  One world is enough for me, thank you very much.)  Included in this issue is an essay on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nature.com\/nature\/journal\/v448\/n7149\/full\/448015a.html\">the many worlds interpretation<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\nAll three approaches have their adherents, but for what seems to be a growing number of physicists, especially those working in quantum information and cosmology, it is Everett&#8217;s alternative that wins out&#8230;\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Hmm, well we can run an experiment, err, I mean a social science experiment, aka a poll.  Okay so these categories are subject to interpretation.  For a rough guide here is wikipedia&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Interpretation_of_quantum_mechanics\">interpretation of quantum theories<\/a> page.<br \/>\n[poll=2]<br \/>\nAlso in this issue is an article <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nature.com\/nature\/journal\/v448\/n7149\/full\/448023a.html\">Many lives in many worlds<\/a> by  Max Tegmark arguing for the many-worlds interpretation as well as an article <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nature.com\/nature\/journal\/v448\/n7149\/full\/448025a.html\">Surfing the multiverse<\/a> by Gary Wolfe describing many worlds and science fiction.<br \/>\nFinally, and perhaps more exciting than all this many worldliness, in this universe it appears that low enegy acoustic plasmons at metal surfaces have <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nature.com\/nature\/journal\/v448\/n7149\/full\/nature05975.html\">been observed<\/a>.
